Probably the coolest single engine GA available. Fast and efficient, but more spacious than a Mooney, more modern than a SR22 and sportier, better looking while still comfortable. Absolutely want one of those

Nope those are the real pictures. Aerobask has already released it on XP11 on the .Org and Aerobask website.

This is a Wishlist thread. There hasn’t been any development announcements that someone’s taken up this project. The Aerobask is for XP.

Hi,

There’s already a topic for the request of Diamond DA50. The topic is dead, I’m requesting it once again for the community. With the recent news, Cirrus SR22T G6 is on the roadmap. It is a great aircraft for modern general aviation. I appreciate the fact that request is made by the CEO of Cirrus himself. That meant a lot for us, flight simmers. Because developers say they suffer from licensing issues from time to time. And the fact that company itself requested to simulate their newer aircraft is a nice gesture. Besides, it’s win win for both parties.

I hope to see the single engine sibling of Diamond DA62, the Diamond DA50 RG on the roadmap. It is a great single piston general aviation aircraft due to jet a1 fuel usage with surprisingly economic fuel flow rates. We’ve been told that Got Friends initiated the development of DA50, but they had licensing issues. Since the Microsoft/Asobo already has the DA62 developed, maybe they can also bring us the DA50 in the following roadmap. It would be appreciated if were a study level quality as been promised with the ATR. It can be a paid addon on the market given the quality. Please let us fly this great aircraft in MSFS. There’s a good product available for XP12, made by Aerobask team. I wish to see the same in MSFS, given the visual quality of the sim.

Got Friends had announced development of a DA50 RG about a year and a half ago. But it looks like they either abandoned it, or at least shelved it for the time being.

Edit:
just got the confirmation by DigitalJonx from Got Friends that the project is “delayed indefinitely” because they are going in a different direction. :confused:

I thought it was a licensing issue. So bad to hear that they abandoned the greatest GA single piston aircraft :frowning: It is a big missing in the sim, given the quality of the aircraft in real life.

Since Asobo seems to have a license for Diamond aircraft, maybe there’s one in the works for MSFS 2024.
