Did I get switched to an xbox version?

After SU8 I experienced a major issue in the game freezing constantly starting from the cutscene.

I did a complete re-install. I later discovered others had the same issue. The temporary solution is everytime you load the sim up, you have to click on your profile and log out then re-log in. The freezing then goes away.

I am on pc/steam yet I get the following on my loading screen which I never got before-

Got it too on a PC. I view it as an explanation of assignments if you want to use the Xbox controller. Don’t see it anymore.

Same here. I’m not sure if I changed something to make it go away or if it just goes away by itself after a while. Either way, I’m glad it’s gone.
