Thanks for the tip! So some experimenting and some findings: (I guess this will be an ongoing list as I experiment)
- It seems to track half the time.
What happens: For ex. I will be taxiing and out to get to approved runway, out of no where it will track to the left when I have to proceed forward, per instructions, even with the ribbon on it tracks the other way. The smartcam is setting itself where it wants to.
What did I check to see if I can fix it first? When I open the dropdown toolbar at the top of the screen and click on camera I can then edit the point the smart camera is fixated on. But the point still moves to where it wants to. This is after getting all ATC and Ground services directions. I will land, it will then say get off nearest taxi. Then I do, afterwards I tune to ground, request taxi to parking, get directions and go, and it will still go to another point. I am using the parking in Orl Int KIssimmee Gateway, left of 36L runway, taking off at 36R landing 36R then taxiing over 36L to the right and going up about 2-300 yards and parking to the left. I had this mode in assistance options set to MANUAL and it still overrode the command, if this is even the function that I think the setting/command does.
How to fix this? idk… Settings > Assistance options > Navigation Aids dropdown > Smartcam Mode > Auto, any thoughts?
Did it work? For the meantime yes it did. I still have to try landing and checking to see if my settings are working immediately after getting directions to parking.
Anyone else have their settings nailed to work with no problems?
Thx
