Hi @Yasickk. The sim has a custom cockpit camera option. You can use this feature to add custom cockpit views for each aircraft:
- Ctrl + Alt + [number] to create a custom camera
- Alt + [number] to load a custom camera
- Custom cameras are saved per plane and across sessions
Note, again, these custom cameras are unique to the aircraft you create them in. You can have one set of unique cockpit views for the A320 and another set for the TBM930. Give it a try.
Thanks for the reply
Hi Sartanius. The custom camera is a good feature. But how to delete a camera position? I want to click through the camera positions with the k-button. If I then have entered e.g. five points and want to delete the fifth, do you know how to do that?
Another tip I just learnt recently.
Choose your favorite button on the Yoke/Throttle as a Straight on view you would like to use. In the settings, map that view button as “Load 0” (I like to use zero for example as other numbers are used for different camera positions). Then follow @Sartanius guidance he described above as Ctrl + Alt + 0, then that button you’ve mapped will be linked to that view you have selected.
Now you just do it once in all planes you get into for the first time, and your view will be the correct highlight and distance you set no matter which plane you are in.
It should be noted that this is not a “Default view button”
Do you know how to get rid of the gauges shown in external view?
I tried showcase camera and they disappear, buy I can’t move around the plane.
