Disable bound key events when typing in custom window

Hi All

I have used the template here (https://github.com/bymaximus/msfs2020-toolbar-window-template) to create a custom toolbar window displaying a webpage.

I’d like to capture form data on the site, however when the user types on the form input in the custom window the simulator fires the bound key events when typing. for example pressing ‘q’ makes my view move.

Do any of you know how to disable the bound keys when typing in a custom toolbar window? Is it even possible?
