Disappearing Aircraft in Aircraft Selection List

Description of the issue:
Every time I select a new aircraft, at some point the previously selected aircraft are just missing from the aircraft selection list.
The resolution requires me to disable and re-enable the package in the Content Manager (which is an extremely annoying detour)
EDIT: I believe this has to do with using liveries that are not configured correctly (i.e., the aircraft.cfg wasn’t properly built).

No, 3rd party mods are fundamental to the issue

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
I can’t recall an instance of it working correctly

REPRODUCTION STEPS

1. Select ATR 72 for flight
2. Fly
3. Restart sim
4. Select ATR 42 for flight
5. Fly
6. Restart sim
7. Try to select ATR 72 for flight
8. Observe: ATR 72 not available in list

Used the Boeing 707, then restarted the sim, and now the other ATR is gone:

Ah, that is the reason, why my A380 is gone. I have the same issue.

Also getting this, tested with the CRJ. I thought it was because I adjusted the liveries to be grouped correctly with the aircraft but every livery I tested worked. However, I had flown the -1000 variant last and next load it didn’t show up.

Same for me. But going to the library if you disable the add-on and re-enable it reappears regularly, BUT It’s like WASM is recompiled, so you lose your personal aircraft settings.

Ahhhh was just about to post… I experience the same thing, and also with different addons!

I no longer see my black square Dukes nor do I see my Flysimware C414!

It’s related to SU2 current beta for sure! It was working in SU1!

• I have experienced various missing aircraft tiles since 1.4.10.0 depending on which aircraft I have enabled/disabled via My library. It seems to be a moving target. Currently, the Fouga Magister and Volocity are missing. I’ve seen the 307 disappear, as well as others.

I have the same problem. I don’t see any DC-3 livery from community folder. Disabling and enabling in the marketplace library doesn’t help

I roll back to su1 load in the sim exit and reload su2 beta and my aircraft reappear this seems to work for me every time. Not ideal in the least but at least i can get my planes back…hope this helps

Wasn’t having this problem now am in 1.4.12 on Xbox first one I lost was the atr 72 but addon livery so assumed that was the issue disabled and enabled addon and it came back yay

C17 on the other hand had flown it 3 times in the session and when I went to go back to it it was gone (being Xbox there’s no add-ons for this plane yet so vanilla base game install of it) restarted sim still not there disabled and enabled it came back chose a different livery went to world map and it said not found

• Same issue with some planes, but the OP’s reproduction steps are missing a crucial one, we need to have an add-on livery installed for this to happen. If I have no add-on livery for a plane this never happens. Removing the add-on livery always fixes the issue for me.

For me on Xbox I lost the c17 there’s no out of base game liveries for it yet

Missing the Fenix A320 since today. Yesterday, everything worked well (except the usual bugs).
Always fascinated how you do 1 step forward and the 23 steps back. Keep it going! Thats why the playercount is so high I guess.

Same here. Fenix A320 (several times) and FBW A320. Disabling and re-enabling in the library seems to bring it back.

That happens to me with the Ju-52. I’m not using any liveries for the JU-52, though.

Didn’t happen with the Boeing 707 (a 2020-tagged aircraft) when I tried it. And the ATR is a 2024 aircraft.

I seriously believe it’s incorrectly configured Livery files.

Unfortunately the ATR is not a 2024 aircraft though it was included in the Aviator Edition. All of those aircraft are still fully-2020 and have not had any updates to be 2024-compatible (let alone 2024-native) as of yet.
