I always thought when they update a region, they also update the aerial photography. In their promo for the next update though, even in the hero shot there is a huge area with zero ground texture basically. You can imagine how the rest looks if that is a promo shot. Underwhelming to say the least. Held back from buying this so far because I thought they would fix this bit by bit for the areas they focus on. 
On top, you are looking at the low poly castle that looks like from a PS2 game and probably pops up 10m in front of you because it does not have LODs set up.

Ah, yeah. Horrific. Luck for us there are heaps better flight sims with better scenery than MSFS!

Google it, its not bad.
There are flat areas all over Scotland where forests used to be, or the land has been burned to favour bird shooting.

This is because they painted away white spots from clouds I think.
It’s not even released yet. Let’s wait until it actually launches before trying to critique content.
