And I’m genuinely wondering how could they solve CTD if there is no reporting system, which would require of course mini dump but also log file to trace the context leading to the CTD. I don’t know how it works on your systems but on mine, there is no log file (it is not implemented yet?) and the mini dump never get out my computer to MSFT.
NB: I don’t get this one either, really. If you look into the WindowsApp folder, they seem to have implemented the renown CrashRpt lib (they’ve left over the crashrpt_lang.ini file) but there is no trace of the CrashSenderXXXX.exe program.
Did they just forget to include it in the distrib?
Are they using another instance of the .exe located somewhere else?
Did they just not include it in the distrib because they’re using it only internally?
Or is it embedded into Flight Simulator.exe source code but not working?
