it also crashes few minutes after taking off for me…
(when it doesnt crash just after spawning)
EDIT : no more crash after disabling AZURE online voices

Wow, this patch is awesome when it comes to improving performance! Even at Heathrow averaging between 20-30fps feels much smoother and less stuttery.
Running a mix of high and ultra settings at 1080p with i5 2500k, GTX 1060 and 12GB RAM

Many new problems with the new patch!
Msfs crashed 3 times tonight in less than 1 hour. I had no crash from the beginning and around 40 hours of games.
I took the 787 and the behavior of copilot is mad. It is worst than before the “fix”.
The value of HDG, altiture, VS is missing…
I am very desapointed.
I hope you MS will correct it soon.

Yeah let’s just point this out for everyone’s benefit: If you’ve already unofficially modified the game and made manual config hacks… you haven’t done yourself any favors. And it could easily be why you’re experiencing certain problems like crashing. Who knows. It’s pretty hard to track down issues like that when people start totally customizing the game like 1 week after launch. I’m not in favor of those habits to be honest, and I think a lot of time people who are applauded as community heroes on the forums have actually made the long-term experience much worse for many users.

I hate to repeat the old X-Plane forum mantra, but it is correct, and applicable here.
Remove all mods, then fly with Asobo default assets first. Then try your mods.
I’ve had no crashes this evening at all, and had maybe half a dozen flights without any issues, except known things like the missing controller sensitivity settings.
A great patch, from my perspective.

Honestly I think the best course of action would be a public beta 1 week behind or so the QA testers.
That way other people will catch the issues before public release even if QA testers dont
Patch is awesome. Sim running smoother than ever. FPS up maybe 5-10, and that’s with the glass cockpit option at high (when I set it lower, it made me think I had stutters when I didn’t!). Load times faster. TBM running sweetly. The whole experience feels more stable and crisper somehow. Can’t remember the last time I had a crash - nothing at all since patch 1 anyway. The view out of the window isn’t getting any worse either:

Not one crash after patch. Having excellent performance now with mostly Ultra settings and best of all no studdddddering or long frame pauses!!! Thank you Asobo!!!
No modified anything here. I’m a hundred percent sure they will get these bugs iron out eventually .
I do re-enable disable full screen optimizations and no overriding display scaling with the exe file.

This is a systemic problem since early FS days. I would not count on it being fixed quickly.
Nope. APU is shut down. Both engines are working. Sorry to disappoint, but it’s not “always”.

Not being funny…but is it an auto update or can you stick to the current version? All these posts just indicate another bloody nightmare!

The update is mandatory. The only issue I had was a slight hiccup during installation which was fixed by closing and restarting the launcher.
During flight , I note random crash and return to windows desktop.
My config 16Go RAM, CPU I7 8750 H, GPU Nvidia 1050 Ti 4 Go
When finish update recommend to restart computer ,atc voice was not changing even with all avatars males after restart all working good so who knows how many other things needs a restart
ATC seems to be better for me. I have more voices as they said and the radio actually will deteriorate as you get further from the source. It never did that before.
Sorry but i changed nothing, was playing since Launch without Problems untill the latest Update.
As reported, Blank Joystick Sensitivity Menu, but Joystick has original sensitivity & dead zones as set before the update, so it’s maybe just the Adjustment Graphics that are missing.
Flight Planner: No Fixes displaying, or Vors and Incorrect KDCA LDA routing,
BUT
on the VFR map, the LDA displays correctly now !!! (Great !)
