Watched some benchmarks of FS 2020 with a 3080 and there’s not a great deal of improvement. Something along the line of 24%. From what I’ve seen I won’t be feeling any need to update from my 2080Ti anytime soon.

I think the biggest performance increase will come if the devs get around to updating FS 2020 from DirectX 11 to DirectX 12 to achieve better CPU threading, possibly improving draw-calls (I’m no expert tho).

AFAIK, the Sept 24 “update” is a status report—not anther patch. We will probably be told the next patch to fix the problems of the last patch will 7-10 days after that.

That means i have to wait 2-3 weeks till i can play the game :frowning:

Me too!,

Good evening,

I don’t have any flight plan in my garmin? I noticed yesterday the problem on a plane I didn’t use before, and I also have the TBM problem. Do you also have the concern? is there a workaround identified?
Generally speaking, this update has a number of regressions.
Like the sensitivity setting, I feel that the flight controls do not respond properly, but I have not tried to fly more than that car I do not have a simulation function, I frankly do not want to fly.
Everything was working fine for me I have 56 hours of flight time, but I’m stuck.no more connection to the server for the weather, and the store.
So I’m going to wait for the next patch, keeping my fingers crossed.
I also have the impression that the rendering quality is much poorer since this patch.
I feel like I’m back in FSX. And I didn’t gain in FPS, I versified, but a different perception of the less immersive game.
I invested a lot of money in peripherals, because I was satisfied with the first 30 hours.
Please give us back the simulator from the previous patch.
It’s amazing that basic things like this have fallen under the radar of non-regression testing.
It’s not very professional. You should urgently allow us to do a Roll-Back on the previous patch, it would be more professional than making thousands of people wait.
Sincerely

Okay, the Net Limiter 4 solution is working for me. After days of trying everything I finally did this:

  1. Download Net Limiter 4.
  2. Install and run it.
  3. Start up MSFS and begin update.
  4. In Net Limiter right click flightsimulator.exe and click info
  5. In the “In” limit box set it to 2.34 MBs , any faster the installer restarts and won’t finish download.

Have about 30% of the full 102.78 GB install done already and passed the ‘bigfiles’ packages that choked my system before.

Whoever came up with this solution, thank you!

Can you please write in english?

Because you have to. This is English forum. Reported

Okay in 2020 with all the dynamic translation tools you still need to post in English language, you still need to update and get up to date.

Are you able to use all autopilot functions the TBM? I have AP/Trim switch on, autopilot enabled, and when I set a target altitude and try either VS or Flt Change, nothing happens. In addition, it is so difficult to grab those knobs/wheels with a mouse. I hate it. But I’m curious how you get AP to do what it needs to.

The joystick is unusable due to the goof up by the developers - they need to fix it NOW - not wait until the 24th for the next release. Not acceptable.

The bottom line is it presently sucks in any language!
