Honestly though, try to tamper your expectations for what will be fixed in each patch. Some bugs are harder to fix and find, and I am totally prepared for it taking months to fix everything considering the scale of the project.

Yesterday I experienced similar issue,but in my case the game didn’t crash last time I played. It just suddenly promoted for destination folder after I launched it. All the 120GB was gone for no reason, but a game installer bug😠

I have the fs2020 installed but it has two faults: ONE.- is that when configuring a flight after selecting the plane and airports when pressing “fly” it does not respond. I have only been able to do flights in the test flight section. TWO.- Using the yoke saitek it is impossible to control the flight due to a high sensitivity and when going into settings and selecting sensitivity, the three graphs with which that high sensitivity could be lowered that I see do not appear, it is a problem that many of us have with this fs2020 . I was hoping that the patch from September 24 would solve it but this did not happen.
There was no patch on the 24th, there was a developer update, which announced the date of the patch, and it’s contents.
The joystick calibration is till broken. It was suppoesed to be fixed with the Sept 24 release. No update is released - today is Sept 27th. This is not an acceptable response - please send the link to this forum to your supervisor and also one level above that supervisor. Utter nonsense! I surely hope none of the game designers are involved in writing any software for a real aircraft.
Every month they do a Development Update (think of it as a news write up). The last Development Update was on the 27th.

Open the Development Update for 27 September. In this, you will see a Development Roadmap. There is a patch update located there. This is the date a patch will come out.
So in the meantime, the thousands of people who paid for this software are unable to use it since the sensitivity setting is broken. Not acceptable by any means - this should be a hotfix.
This is a very serious matter - taken lightly and ignored by Micro$oft.
PLEASE !!! Its not BROKEN, it just has stopped displaying ONE SETUP window in the GUI.
It is NOT stopping you from using the sim.
Within a few days of the patch that caused this issue, there were instruction ALL OVER THE INTERNET, including here, on how to edit it manually, until the broken GUI was fixed.
If there is one thing you can guarantee will be fixed in the next patch, it is this simple little bug.
Maybe what is REALLY stopping you from using the Sim, is spending too much time in here, repeating over and over again that the Sim is BROKEN, instead of actually spending the time, learning how to use it correctly.

The announcement was on the the Sept 24, that said the Planned Update Release #3 would be on Oct 1 st
I bought the app about 10 days ago and was updated to this broken version right away.
I cannot use my joystick and yoke at all. The controls are not calibrated without the XML Config file and the plane dives on either side even when I just touch the joystick.
Yes, This is broken.
Then play another GAME, till it is fixed …

Hello, I know that many of you must have pointed out this problem. After 22 minutes of flight around LFTZ in C172 crash and direct windows return. It’s unmanageable I strongly hope that the next patch will fix this problem because having a simulator of this quality and not being able to fly is clearly not possible.

No problems here. Yesterday decided to test some planes that people say are broke. C172 with GS display from Birmingham to Plymouth. Once I had set up the trim, straight and level flight achieved. Tried AP, no problem it’s climbing/descending or heading. Changed to A320 from Bournemouth to Humberside, full AP followed route set into FMS. Full ILS landing into Humberside following full charts for runway 20. No issues throughout either flight. You just got to remember it’s a simulator not a game. Learn the basic setups. I have been using flight sims since they first appeared on PC. None have come out perfect and needed service packs. But this is the first where out of the box I have had no issues.
OK, lets be honest here, and face the real truth here …
The SIM is broken, and many of it feetures are broken or missin.
Where are the GUNs ? Why Can’t I even shoot toes slow mooving Cessna down in Flames.
I have been playin this GAME almost 24/7 for the past 4 weaks, and I am yet to see my 1st drop of Blud.
This really sucks Dude – I could get my money back, but then I wood not have anythung to complan about.
I fink I will give up Planes and go back to cars . at least I can run people over in a desent car simulater !!
