Steam update went without a hitch as usualā¦kept my community folder full, LOD up to 300 and took my usual test flight from RAF Valley and to the Mach Loop in the F-15ā¦smooth butter and looking fantastic, fantastic update

I got it now how I did it:
Select your library in the Xbox app, then you will find at the top right corner a button to manage your installations.
Click on it, and youāre in the update section.

Finally got it to work. Thank you. Have to click āMy Collectionā in the upper left, then thereās a manage installs button on the right, then you should get an updates available message which includes Flight Simulator.
One note was that the update arrow itself under manage installs didnāt work for me right away, had to go to the game in the list of games on the left and then it finally started saying update available on the button that normally just says Play.

One big disappointment. When using AI to handle radio comms, it still insists on contacting ATC after takeoff to change the flight destination (even though itās the same chosen to set up the flight). This was happening prior to the update and I thought it would/should be fixed. It screws up having ATC take you up to the cruise FL. You have to keep requesting higher until you get to cruise altitude.

Smooth download and install for me! My first flight took a long time to load and got stuck on full loading bar (it has happened a few times before, first flight after the update), but after a restart it worked as intended
Looking good after a first glance, tons of stuff fixed, so great update!
Here on Steam, update completed without issues, 30 mins in total to complete main update and additional updates inside MSFS. Community folder was empty, no CTD.
Then I have replaced my Community folder (total of 40GB of addons), restart again, try to small flights with different airplanes, one of them A32 FBW, and until now no issues ot CTD (as in my previous version, that was from a clean install after SU5 and hotfixes).
And itās still crashing on the Xbox as well
Way too much twinkle with night lighting. Even the taxi way lights are twinkling/ shimmering.
Currently doing a IFR flight from Zagreb to Innsbruck. Love to see the online/AI traffic has their lights on in the air! Havenāt tested on ground yet.
I noticed there is cricket and wolf sounds now?? Sounds like Iām on Disney Jungle Cruise ride.

Okay, am I the only one that the update freezes at 99% complete? This will be the 4th time that Iām closing, rebooting, and trying again.
This is the first time this has ever happened to me with an update.

Anyone figure out what this Windows 11 package is that was downloaded & installed within the content manager automatically? I am running Windows 11 but still curious as what that is.

Itās a mod conflict, but the safe mode prompt after my CTDs is not popping up.
I think it was the thing in the patch notes where they said selected landmarks are going to glow blue in celebration of Windows 11 launch.

Release notes says it has to do with some enhanced colors available under Win11.
