All my addons are back! Jetways and all my sceneries.
I was able to enjoy Monterrey as it was supposed to be. Glorious. No popping in buildings spoiling the immersion. I didn’t actually know there was this many buildings in the pack!
Still not possible to play… stuck in the update-download-loop caused by server problems.

Yes, I totally noticed that. I thought my speakers had issues, until I heard that my pilot’s voice sounded fine.
I don’t think you can actually but there might be a hack that exists (like turning its opacity off in a file like we could do for the top arrow that wouldn’t disappear, or replacing the texture by an empty one?).
I’m not bothered with this white dot because I play in VR so I don’t turn the view with the right stick.
Yes, there is a difference in the ATC voices indeed. Probably they wanted to make it sound more realistic? Or just a change in the Azure voices in general? Doesn’t bother me that much though, wouldn’t have probably noticed it at all without you mentioning it.
This has been my experience attempting to update for the last 20 mins. It never actually recovers. I have to shut down and try again. I get a few bytes of data in, and get this error.
Same. I’ve never met a piece of software this convoluted and broken. Ever. Even Mac OS8 was more reliable and easier to update and it was NOTORIOUSLY bad.
Yeah, and it seems to be getting worse. Installer worked great for the first 4 months or so. Then I was stuck with ridiculously slow speeds until SU4. Then speed returned. But that’s when file looping , decompression issues, etc started. And it’s gone downhill since.
On an unrelated note, love your Gorbie avatar. That table sucked up a small fortune of my quarters when I was a kid.
I updated quite early after the update was available. It worked fine and quite fast. After that I could play for about 2-3 hours. I just noticed a problem in multiplayer where other players were only present occasionally.
Now when I start the sim, I’m in offline mode and no possibility to switch back to online… welcome back to FS9…
Well, very clearly once again the servers are not able to handle the load. Has nothing to do with the game. You can raise your valid complaint to microsoft and their azure.
LOL, I just flew in and out of EDDT on my RTW tour, didnt know it was closed…
It’s endemic of this entire mess of software. Servers can’t handle whatever it was designed to do because whatever it was designed to do, servers can’t handle.
Guys, I don’t want to upset you, but the sepia mask is still there. Even though it is night, everything seems bright. I hope they fix this issue completely in SU7…

Update instalation without any problem at all. I´ve just made a flight from KSYR to KIAD with the FBW A320 and OMG!!! Night lighting is STUNNING 
for a moment I thought I was really up there at FL300 and during the final approach I felt something that NEVER EVER before experienced in any other sim (P3D, X-PLANE, FSX).
Goosebumps with this update!!! Bravo Asobo!!! 
I experience this every time I fly in to an airport in Colorado, USA. And, I think I know what the problem is here…
When ATC assigns you an altitude below MSA (minimum safe altitude) they (the program code for your descent) do not consider the aircraft’s actual altitude during your descent. I appears to use the MSA at the aircraft’s location. So, ATC will give you an altitude at or above MSA, which would look like this.
They (the programming code for ATC descend altitude) need to use the aircraft’s altitude instead of MSA at the aircraft’s location.

Me too, online options greyed out, performance terrible in VR with previous settings.
Initially after a no trouble update I set LOD to 400 just to see how it was, and yes better than before with it set to 200 in the config, but some performance hit (expected) and still the outside world and motion smoothness not looking as good as a few weeks ago with other settings as then. I did not have the greyed out online options at this stage.
Then a CTD while selecting airport in the main menu.
Came back to it some hours later to play with settings and now what appears to be server issues as described above and very poor performance. Got “water wobble” motion again to the ground at London Heathrow. Something I lost ages ago.
