So, another ridiculous step added: install the XBox app.
But yes, then it finally recognized something…

As I just found out when starting FS2020 via the startup screen, WU6 has been released today. According to the information in FS2020, the update should be available in the MS Store. If I go to the Store and call up available updates and downloads, I am not shown anything and receive the message “everything up to date”. Does anyone have the same problem? I’m a bit irritated, as I’ve always had an update for FS2020 available in the Store when I’ve received a corresponding message. I would be very grateful for any tips on how to solve the problem. I already made the Store reset via WSreset.exe and restartet my system. Nothing happened and still nothing available.

Errmmm…Something is wrong with the night lighting. 
I’ll update my drivers later, but if it persists we need a hotfix asap.
Maybe a powerstation using MS software?

I am not saying you should, I am saying that is what I had to do in order for MS Store app to show an update available. Someone here advised to do that and as soon as I did the update was showing available in MS Store app. 
I have the XBOX app set to not start automatically, now after I reboot I will not run it and see if I can uninstall it as well without that causing any issues. But I agree about the bloatware.

Thanks, sky pilot. Can see the deluxe and premium are available as separate updates. Be good if Downloader knew people had deluxe and just do all in one hit. Oh well world update 5 almost there.

You have to install the XBox app or logout / login with it if you already have it.
I was also trying for an hour, resisting this silly XBox advise. But it wasn’t so silly when I tried it. It really seems the only way currently.

Are you trying to run the sim while your PC OS is booted in safe mode??

Follow3ed all steps Part I-III, no ure in France
- VR Performance remains sub-par
- VR Clarity remains poor compared to SU4
- Popping and morphing are still present in VR
- CTD when connecting in a Reverb G2
- Still no update on DX12
- Update process remains an embarassment
Updates are a constant disappointment these days, we’re still going backwards.

One thing that has helped sort post-update issues: Log Out once the Sim loads, and then log back in with your XBox credentials. Quit the sim and restart; should be good to go.
