Something is wrong with your system. Been flying around all morning with 172 and have not experienced any of the problems you talking about. Disable your community folder, restart and see if it works. If it does something in your community folder is the cause of your problems.

I can’t believe it.
They did it, they broke it even more.
I load the flight and my peripherals won’t work:
- If I move the mouse I can interact with the menu but nothing else.
- The keyboard reacts only for esc and windows keys, all the other keys are dead.
- Joystick and rudder pedals don’t work, but they do respond in the control settings menu.
- I can do nothing, not even move the camera around.
I’m so beyond astonished… Unbelievable… I was flying fine till patch 2 and then they broke the plane…so I kept flying with workarounds till patch 3 and now I can’t even load and fly a flight?

Really huh, I dare you to make a video backing this claim up, and after flying hit v key to bring up vfr map in new patch. Tell me then what happens.
Also yes aliasing looks like junk because in game not working and render scaling not working and make it look good.
I would know, I flew in game for total of five hours yesterday and then today with patch three complete major game stoppers…
Look at fence in Japan tour flight on left of runway, in game all sparkely and jaggie and flickering…

Restart the sim
Update ~15-20 minutes. Addtional ~5 Minutes for Japan. Tested my usual areas, everthing is working fine. I have noticed changes in weather and more difficult to takeoff and very close to reality.

Go back to playing X-Plane and Prepar3d. We won’t miss you. How come I have had no issues with either of the patches. You probably need to do clean install of Windows

I’m curious about those with issues. All patches, downloads etc. worked seamlessly for me from day one, knock on wood. The initial install of the sim I let it install where it wanted which is users/owner folder, not C or any other drive folder. Those with issues, did you guys choose your desired destination folder? Perhaps that could be the issue? Or simply an internet issue? I also dont have any anti virus installed, maybe turn it off

I think this is the know issue on re-setting your account. Probably you server selection screen is greyed out also ?
Read the patch notes, man. There are instructions for both of these issues if you have them.

I had the same problem (before the latest patch). The solution was to make sure you to turn on “Use Generic Plane Models (AI Traffic)” under Option/General/Graphics…

I’m greatful for all that effort, but honestly it’s about time to get some real sim improvements going! Divert some resources to that!
All who has problems with graphics, check that Geforce Experience Flight Simulator optimization is OFF.

What do you mean? I did not reset my account. I simply initiated the Steam update, which to my surprise was 95gb, and then after waiting for it to install I loaded in missing 28 planes and the greyed out Japan box. I’m doing a fresh install now (for the 4th time since launch).
No problems like this on my side (no CTDs). Flying for 20 minutes around Portland in C152. No content in Community folder (waiting for A32NX to be fixed after the patch).
My Norton Anti-Virus blocked the the update. I had to turn it off.
