Discussion: World Update I: Japan

in that case this update was a disaster, too bad I was really enjoying the game :slightly_frowning_face: :expressionless:

So there will be no way to solve these problems for now? In short, we will have to wait for a new update

Does anybody else think the water looks worse than it was pre update?

There are a lot of good things in the patch but to me the water looked much better before.

I did these procedures that you mentioned but my LNAV still doesn’t work, if I uninstall the game and install it again, will it be able to solve?

Water textures are terrible after the update. More precisely a disaster.

Am I wrong or the flight times are no longer counted since this patch?

downloaded it yesterday within 15min.

Clearing the shader cache may fix the water and other appearance issues.

I can’t guarantee it will fix your issue if you do a reinstall but I would try it. If what I mentioned earlier didn’t work for me then I was going to do a reinstall myself.

ty very much for your support =)

Weather is not realistic more after patch 1.9.3.0.
I have lightning during almost every flight. This is not realistic more, specialy when there are only a few clouds in the sky.

Hi. Yeah I put 110.9 into the ils nav display . I don’t do it in the FMC . It has the guidance. I use skyvector which is same as what game has listed. It used to work until the new pach.

I take off from Monmouth county AP in New Jersey, on the runway heading southeast. It is a small AP.

I use 3k cruise and I change the waypoints from the recommended to make flight shorter and more straight, in other words more simple that AP should have no issues. Ill tell you exact nav points when I get in game.

Lately, I just recover from the out of control AP and press AP2 and it gets back on track. I wonder if its a case of AP1 losing control.

I use LS within 20 miles of JFK, then going right to APPR, since going to LOC first stopped working.

I have done the main update, ignoring the Japan update portion as I have no need for it at this time. The only issue I am having is auto-pilot malfunctions; won’t stay on flight plan course; disengage and aircraft climbs rapidly; no working ā€œlive weatherā€ (but LW has not worked for me since sim came out) is all.

So it is a subjective thing - to update or not. If you do decide to update, be sure you update your graphic card’s driver.

Hope this helps.

Everyone should watch this! It will give you MUICH more confidence in the future of MSFS2020

Anyone else try adjusting the deadzone in the Sensitivity menu to values greater than zero?

I read it suggested elsewhere as it seems the noise from your controller at 0% deadzone is wreaking havoc on the AP.

I have mine all set to 2% and I’ve never had a single issue with the AP on the A320Neo. No mods installed.

In fact, on a brighter note, the constant swaying from side to side is gone in the Airbus. Hurrah!

But yeah, anyone else try messing with deadzone when it comes to AP woes?

I guess no one have ever thinked that ppl will invest billions on one sim and not will plan future thing with it. The question is, they can achieve this without bugs or it will be a screenshot simulator? I hope they achieve all those things they said in video without brak auto pilots, procedures etc

Hi, can someone please assist me with a possible solution.

I’m busy downloading the new 1.9.3.0 update, but the download keeps looping and re-download ā€œpc-fs-gase-bigfiles-0.1.69.fs.patchā€ and then it still needs to download about 6.10GB. I haven’t had problems with the first installation or previous update and haven’t change anything since the installation.

Thank you in advance!

I have not touched sensitivity
