Netlimiter 4 hasn’t worked for me. I am now on my third day of trying to download this troublesome patch. Zendesk hasn’t responded. I have lost use of the game.
Have your PC connected with an ethernet cable??
Thanks for the tip but no luck on this end. did complete reload.
One thing I notice re: pitch in the Cessna 172…I always go to external view during the run up to do my controls check (check ailerons, elevator and rudder is working properly). Ailerons move nice and smoothly, rudder does also, but the elevator snaps to 100% deflection when my joystick is only moved about 50% of the way. And it snaps with an audible snap.
I don’t understand why this happens. Seems pretty simple to me…100% joystick deflection should produce 100% elevator deflection. That doesn’t seem to be the way it’s working.

Can the developers please fix the Airliners.
It doesn’t have to be ‘study’ level but an Airliner needs basic LNAV/VNAV working functionality with working A/T and A/P logic and basic working flightplan management that calculates T/D points. That can’t be hard to do it’s basic maths!
Let the payware developers do all that other nice system stuff. But we just need the plane just to fly the flightplan, allow us to modify it if need be and have the plane be controllable in manual flight during takeoff, landing and taxing.
Get some small teams together to concentrate on each plane. Make the planes have their own character and make them fun to fly and TEST TEST TEST it until it works properly. Come on.
I’m off to play SW Squadrons now until this mess of a game is fixed.
Thanks!
If you don’t use the FMC you can’t use any managed modes for the AP. The FMC is crucial for advanced use of the automation, this goes for most modern airliners today but definitely Boeing and Airbus.
CESSNA CITATION LONGITUDE
Uncontrollable pitch oscillations, (+/- 15 degrees) during ascent or descent (after patch 1.9.3.0) in all autopilot flight modes.
Before the latest patch I could fly the plane more or less with Autopilot and Autothrust. I did a flight and no problems (even there may be more issues reported in this forum) . But hopping like a dolphin spoils the flight. It happens at about 20.000 ft with ca. 260 kn. If you speed up to more than 300 kn the dolphin efx getting less. But during approach it begins again and a have to swich off Autopilot and autothrottle to proceed a save approach. But I would say, that the plane is not flyable that way - before the patch it was - even when it was not perfect. Im an advanced simulator pilot and I guess beginners will never handle this plane with this kind of bugs included. Its sad, that ASOBO makes this plane more worse due to the LAST patch.
Do somebody have a fix to minimize the “dolphin” efx???
Same with me, I’m from the UK
as well and recently I upgraded to fast fibre, since they just added it outside my door. Made a huge difference to everything
Is there any change you accidentally mapped your controller axis to the pitch + and pitch - button mappings instead of the ‘pitch axis’ mapping? The controls configuration panel will let you do this and then it acts like you describe (over 50% axis deflection pushes the ‘button’)
After Patch JApan, Welcome to FSX downgrade.
Having problems downloading update.
Gets stuck on another download boot loop like the first installation. This time file…pc-fs-base-bigfiles-0.1.63 or 0.1.64.
Had the same problem on initial install but got over it by copying files from a friends version.
All was well and first small update went well, but now this patch has made the sim unplayable again as it wont complete the download.
Now…have tried most things including downloading on another pc. They both get stuck at same point.
The only thing in common is my SLOW download speed (2mb/s max actual) .
Have tried all other solutions and it still wont finish downloading those files. So can only assume its the download speed now.
Have others with slow connection speeds found a solution other than copying files from a friend?
TIA
Also happening for Icon A5, but sideways.
Boeing 747-8 also does this.
If I press ‘v’, the game crashes.
no but it says something.
it’s a feature that should have never even made it into the alpha… and here it still there after multiple post release patches
it says there’s not a single person on their team that is running the sim as an actual user was intended to run it, so they would never have seen what the intended users are actually seeing. which raises questions about the rest of their testing or lack thereof.
FS feels more unstable now than it did during the alpha. I haven’t been able to complete a 1+ hour flight since release. It feels like when the fix something, they break something else.
You need to contact your ISP for a faster internet connection. Not MS fault. I downloaded mine in minutes on 600mbps connection.
Good for you mate. Not all of us live in a fibre catchment area. I have a 2mbs speed with no option to increase speed due to physical copper cable to house. Live in the countryside rather than a concrete jungle.
Agree its a problem but i have no viable solution other than moving house or changing to a un reliable ISP with drop outs every 5 minutes and a service team that dont work weekends. Until fibre is readily available in my area that is.
Hope you’ve read minimum requirements prior buy this ‘product’
Yes, requirements are for play not download.
I don’t have this issue even did a 3 hr flight no problems even got my net disconnected but the sim ran fine , as far as i can see this may be issue with certain aircraft or your hardware , try deleting Community folder or empty it and add mods one by one , it as well might be one of your mods causing the sim to crash mid-flight.
I experience the same issue
