I know I was a alpha tester
Exactly the same issue for me here. This time it took me to the mandatory update page which had an error where my options were to back out and try again or cancel which deletes the sim from your PC. Unfortunately I somehow did this and ended up with another 24+hr reinstall. I rather delay to a time that suits me even if I cant fly on-line until its done (if theyāre worried about conflict issues)
Itās still in effect. Any talk about MSFS prior to release is still under NDA. After release, we can talk about the release (pubic versions) onward.
I did stipulate that we only had the NDA to take into account and that was it. Everyone is free to do what they want ā¦
He asked me a question that I couldnāt answer because I never tested.
OOPs ⦠That those were meant to be Private messages ⦠not for Forum consumption.
I messed up again !!
Installed the sim in a new folder and turned off firewall, it worked for me. Also when it get stuck or looping one file, go to the folder and delete last file and it will restart.
when we get to content manager under profile the spinning wheel never loads up the page so we cant see if our content is up to date or not
Have not been able to play since this patch went live. Soon as I hit ready to fly game just wipes out the screen with crash noises in the background. So sorry I spent a 128 dollars on this. Totally unplayable and in over a month they have yet to fix it. So disappointing.
Anyone else experienced this glitch?
Go to drone mode, off AP (manual flying) and watch the plane drop⦠no matter what I do, just selecting this view dramatically alters the pitch of the aircraft.
I am surprised otherās havenāt commented on this?
You still need to fly the aircraft while in drone mode. You need 4 hands.
I use an xbox controller for drone and yoke/rudder for flying. Usually I trim the aircraft before I get out of it ⦠or when the AI Pilot was working, Iād turn it on so I can go outside.
I need to let you know that my power supply was faulty indeed! You where absolutely right. I had some drops down to 8V on the 12V line. This caused sporadic shutdowns. New power supply with enought power = no further crashes.
Thanks for your input and recommendation!
Yay! Glad you found it. Good thing is they donāt go out too often but when they do, itās a problem causer.
Happy flying!
Yupā¦my most difficult PC issue to solve was a PSU going bad. Fortunately I had an extra lying around, and could pop it in to confirm, before buying a new one. Good news is that when a PSU goes bad, you donāt feel so bad about upgrading to a 1000w+ PSU, because you āhave to.ā LOL
How do you do a repair of the install?? Needed badly here!
Hey, I updated lasted night and bought MSNās through steam. 7.5 Gib
Took around 20.
Did you log out and back in or get a work around?
In the bottom left of windows where it says type here to search, type āadd or remove programsā and hit enter.
Find Microsoft flight simulator and click āadvanced optionsā. Scroll down and you will find a button that says repair. Hit ārepairā and it should do its thingā¦
No such āAdvanced Optionsā appears on that page as you suggested. Also, more worrisome is that MSFS does not start after I installed the XBox update today (Now 3rd), NO MSFS!! Dead, inertā¦it asks for YES/NO to accept changes and never shows up!
