not exactly correct either (but I agree Iām nitpicking here);
1440p = 2560 * 1440 = 3.7 M pixels
2*1440p = 5120 * 1440 = 7.3M pixels
4K = 3840 * 2160 = 8.3 M pixels
so yeh, dual 1440p is definately closer to 4K than 2K

Just got home from work. Install was smooth, surprisingly fast considering the likely demand. At least my graphic settings were saved. Will try it out later this evening, but so far, a thumbs up.
Great update, but I have found that I could not do an ILS approach in the TBM930. Two attempts failed to capture. Freq was correct and NAV set to VOR1. Did a quick search and found a few others have noticed this. I do have the WT Mod on so I will revert back to default until they update it

After the update the heading is not working correct in the Cessna 172. When I turn on AP and turn on HDG lets say to 360 its off by about 10 degrees and never goes to the correct HDG I select. Can someone check to see if the Cessna 172 is working for them when turning on the HDG and AP and if its the correct degrees thatās selected?
They seem to have done terrain data and added the Mauna Kea Observatory for Hawaii.
Alaska is basically the USās red-headed step-son. Itās pretty much treated like itās part of Canada, so basically ignored.
I bet there will be a separate Hawaiian Island update at some pointā¦
Verticalsim released a free version of KFFA with the park in Kittyhawk, worth checking it out on their website. Its great!

Oh ! Youāre right. I never realized that 1440p is indeed different from 2k (which thus doesnāt really exist in retail market I suppose)
Anyway, the bug is probably caused by missing resizing parameters for non standart resolutionsā¦ including 4k. Maybe just anything wider than 2560px. Just to be sure, has anybody tried to use the āreset windows fonctionā inside the sim ? (I think it just resets the position but who knows)
Can confirm that the ILS works fine with default plane.
Would think so, should be the UK next though, its very lacking compared to most of Europe. Its almost like the French donāt like us.

I have never visited there, no. I remember in the Flood when the place was inundated though, along with most of Lower Broad, the Titans stadium, Opryland Hotel, etc. To be honest, when I fly GA out of Nashville itās usually just to buzz Broadway and West End, Vanderbilt, etc.
Most of my flying for the past month or six weeks has been with the 787, alternately enjoying and hating the experience, depending on which random bug shows up on any given flight - autothrottles? AP deciding to ignore the flight plan? Random runway crack destroying the plane on landing? Hilarity ensues ā¦
Today I did only one brief flight after downloading all the new content - a simple takeoff, circuit and landing back at KBNA in the 787. Everything went fine, amazingly. I will do a lot more flying over the long holiday weekend and weāll see how it goes.
yeh, ā2Kā is a really stupid marketing term. Also goes for ā4Kā and ā8Kā.
imo 4K should just be called 2160p, but I guess the marketing guys didnāt think that was sexy enough.
I installed the World USA update this morning. Then rebooted my computer. I have ULTRA settings everywhere, and my computer is very capable at those settings. I am NOT seeing any improvement in actual Points of Interest anywhere as depicted in the released video from Microsoft. My US Capital building has no dome. Washington Monument looks like an office building. No carvings on Mr. Rushmore. Monument Valley looks nothing like the video, etc, etc. Anyone have an idea why? Are there new settings that I need to address. If this is wrong spot for this post, please point me in the right direction. Thanks.
That sounds great. A 787 would have a bit of a problem with Cornelia Fort for sure

Then something is wrong. Have you done all the updates in content manager.
Not sure how to do thatā¦did not know I had to do anything other than the installation itself.
