Open FS > Marketplace > Big box on the left…USA update. Click that, then download…
2K is a cinema resolution 2048 x 1080. I’ve never seen it used by manufacturers to refer to 2560 x 1440.
I personally find it really irritating that people have taken to using it to refer to 2560 x 1440 since it’s not even close and it already has several other official names you can use like QHD or 1440p, but I guess typing 2K is easier. Can’t blame marketing people, just internet people for that one.
OKAY! I have not been aware that I needed to download both program update AND content as two entirely different things to do.
I now have the content in DC. Will check other locations again. Thanks for the help everyone.

One thing I don’t understand: why didn’t they fix the bridges on the usa tour at least?
These “Dam Bridges” are horrible.
Delete your rolling cache.
it’s just an artifact of using photogrammetry to generate the bridges. Would be nice to see this fixed in the future.

Seriously how could you release this new update??? First off, the default keyboard commands to adjust pilot positioning got erased (hitting the keyboard left/right and up/down arrow keys no longer moved positioning until I went into the menu and mapped the keys manually - NEVER had to do that before!
2nd, what is up with the super wide stretched text overlays that never happened before?? I’ve seen people reporting this before I got the update. Only one flight in now so I’m sure I’m missing other things and I’m not looking forward to what else has gotten wrecked. I’ve been supported of you guys even among so many complaints but come on!!! Don’t you all test this before release???

I had the same issue with downloading just kept resetting back to 0% i installed Netlimiter and set flightsimulator.exe to 2 mb and it’s downloading without any resets. It’s slow but at least no resetting back to 0% or stuck situation.

So you’re saying you don’t have the silly wide text stretching and you didn’t have any loss of changing pilot position with the keyboard? I find that hard to believe…
Well, the scenery upgrade was outstanding, but at the moment, I’m seeing such serious performance degradation that I can barely fly the A32NX. 10fps, lagging, stuttering, even the menus are lagging. I’ve verified that my settings haven’t changed, so I don’t know what the deal is. But the level of performance that I’m suddenly getting is so bad that I’m not sure I can continue playing.
That and the auto pilot in the A32NX won’t follow the localizer. I need to try the default version, but since the TBM 9000 pilots are saying the same thing, it sounds like the latest round of core autopilot changes were no good.
I hope I can find workarounds for these issues–especially the performance problem. Maybe it is just time to reinstall…
I think QA needs to look at DC again. They’re missing the Jefferson Memorial.
Compared to Srinivasman’s very well done freeware scenery package which came out not too long after Launch Day.
Not to mention he has an actual polygon Vietnam War Memorial Wall, and Asobo’s is simply texturing on the ground.

I reassigned the arrow keys, took a few minutes. I do not see text stretching… where are you seeing this?
Also, did you mess with the UI scaling option in accessibility.
Did you not see my image?? I rebooted the SIM and still on ending a flight the text was stretched. Look, stretched text is not the end of the world, it just looks cheap as hell and wasn’t like this before the update. For the key bindings, again not the end of the world but I was doing a landing challenge and wasn’t able to change my view position, then after realized I had to map the keys, which I have NEVER needed to do. Either way it’s poor programming for an update.
Regarding the keyboard bindings, all you have to do is go to the keyboard profile and change it back to default. The update added a new profile.
Now regarding the stretched fonts and tool tips, are you on a widescreen monitor by chance? This seems to only be affecting folks with widescreen or ultra widescreen monitors. It’s a known issue being posted elsewhere on the forum. I’m dealing with it as well. Sometimes a restart of the sim fixes it, however it ends up coming back.
