Very cool. Hoping to build my 3080/ryzen 3900xt(placeholder for 5900x) today.
Is there a way to donāt stress GPU during Downloading update?
no, it uses the GPU for decompression if available (from what i believe)
Download went fast and swift looks good so far . Removed all community things as well .
Well I get even more than 100 MBitās so working fine. So no problem with the download servers.
Iām running a 3700x. I have absolutely no reason to upgrade other than for flight sim. Performance improvements are marginal in any other title.
REMINDER TO ALL:
After update, make sure you head to the market place, and actually āpurchaseā (for free) the USA World Update II pack, its another 4GB to get the improved airports/POCs.
Then check your content manager, as there are a few other updates to japan and landing challenges
I am too! I am spawning into RJTT right now with the 787, will let you know how the 3080 is utilized (1440p max with 150 render scaling)
Interested to know. Running a 3080 also.
Has the photogrammetry optimisation improved performance anyone?
Yes, set a frame rate cap in the GPU driver. I have mine set to 60fps.
Frame rate limiter such as Rivatuner
Or directly in the Nvidia control panel..
It is a bit better. Not perfect, but Iāve seen higher GPU usage (above 90%)
To anyone expecting the Longitude roll oscillation at high altitudes to be fixed, prepare for serious disappointment. According to a post over in the related thread about this airplane, now the oscillation happens at all altitudes, making it pretty much unflyable.
I just want to say that Iām very very VERY happy with the more detailed changelog we got here:
Kudos!
My downloading which was very fast at the beginning has now stopped completely to 5,64GiB
Version: 1.11.6.0. Download started. It says 9.76GiB. I have the Steam version of FS2020 standard. Three airplanes (Cessna 208B, Extra 330LT, Robin Cap10) I made flight model mods have entries in the notes. I am really interested in the work of Asobo/Microsoft.
Thanks It works!
