The Humber Bridge looks great, shame about the huge brown band that they’ve left in. I reported that during the Alpha too. Not sure how you can work on a section of river for so long and not fix it!
Let’s see. My XBOX Series controller has always had the external camera motion inverted on both axes (move right stick to the right and the camera turns to the left, even though the settings show right-stick-right for camera right) so I had set up a custom control set to reverse it. This update reset all my custom settings back to defaults and it’s now backwards again.
Tabbed out after fixing it, and now going back the external camera up/down no longer function even though in the cockpit view they work.
Most buildings in London have a “crinkled” surface appearance, either kinda bad photogrammetry or some sort of LOD loading issue. Even skyscrapers look ■■■■ up close.
And I’ve been logged out four times from the forum while typing this. Sigh.
It might also just show a “play” button ► in the top right of the Microsoft Store page … Clicking it will start the update from there, then as the other users say, once you start the sim it should do the major 23GB update
I may add it. I flew through there on my World Tour earlier last year and remember it sticking out in my memory as not a very nice experience. I guess I am a bit partial to that airport as I flew through it in real life on my way from St. Petersburg, Russia through Shannon, onto Newfoudland, and eventually KJFK in New York City.
Shouldn’t be. All of London is stored locally on your hard drive. Sadly these big scenery models are brutal on your FPS. I’m getting around 20FPS over London in one of the smaller planes. The new London model does look incredible but its a big chunk of scenery for the sim to render.
I get the servers are being hammered right now but they are owned by Microsoft, when a game releases on Xbox you don’t get bottled like this, for example let’s take a popular game in the shape of call of duty / fifa when they release at midnight on release date, you do not get these stupid speeds, it’s almost like being on dial up!
