Dismiss single unreads?

Hi! Just a quick question on using these forums. I notice if I follow some topics they show up on a list at the top called “Unread”. I like this list, as it makes it very easy to follow topics I am interested in. But after a while I would like to pare down the list of topics under “Unread”, and remove the ones I am less interested in. But I only see a button to “Dismiss” the whole list of topics. Is there no way to drop just specific topics? I would like to keep the ones I am most interested in. Thanks for any help, and sorry if this is not posted in the correct place!!

There’s a button, under the thread - on my setup it’s under the ‘Share’ button… that’s set to ‘Tracking’ for your unreads.

If you switch that to ‘Normal’ they won’t bother you anymore in the ‘Unreads’.

See my snip… it’s set to normal in this thread…

There is also a new feature coming to Discourse that will allow you to bulk select topics and dismiss topics.

It should be available here in a couple of weeks.

Awesome! Thank you both for these answers, they are just what I was looking for! BTW, ememPilot, your cat looks just like the one that likes to sleep on my lap in the evenings!
