have been searching for a while but not found any discussions about it but i was wondering if there was any hope to see an air to air refueling airliner and planes capable of air-refueling added in future DLC content as this would be an awesome feature for multiplayer or even solo.

Definitely possible. Developer VRS has confirmed their F-18F for this sim. For sims, this addon has had the ability to in-flight refuel.

Unfortunately there’s no ETA yet, but it will come… eventually haha

Here’s hoping. The potential for FS2020 DLC/updates is huge.

  • Helicopter expansion with flight training, helipads, AI traffic etc.
  • Glider expansion with AI & tow mechanics etc.
  • Military expansion with improved military bases & AI traffic etc.
  • Seaplane expansion that adds more aircraft, better water interaction & ports/docks etc.

With a new ‘Missions’ category next to Landing Challenges & Bush Trips featuring FSX style unique experiences with all the aircraft above (or just remake the fsx one’s).

  • Commercial & general aviation - Island tours, explorers to remote places, area 51 shuttle, faults/emergency landing, red bull air race, record attempt, seaplane tours etc.
  • Helicopter - Payload transport, search & rescue, sightseeing tours, medevac (cruise ship/oil rig etc), safari protection/rescue, military interception from an aircraft carrier, arctic research etc.
  • Glider - Flight training, various scenic tours, challenging weather etc.
  • Military - Flight training, air-refuelling, low level training (mach loop), carrier work, airshows, quick reaction alert intercept, nasa/space-x air protection, ufo intercept, experimental aircraft testing, display team, cargo supply/paratroopers etc.

Then you could also do random missions with specific aircraft or situations;

  • Aerial firefighting.
  • Vintage aircraft.
  • Disaster relief.
  • Weather research.

Yes. VTOL VR and a few other can have the military aspect. But I do like the Aerial Firefighting mention A++++

A lot of room for new DLC, hopefully they don’t let me down
