Do I have to manually activate the approach in the middle of a flightplan (GNS530)?

Hi!
When flying a flightplan with an approach using AP, I have to manually activate the approach (PROC) before reaching the JOGIT wp below. Else the AP turns the plane straight towards KLGB and skips the approach. Is there a way to have the flightplan automaticly activate the approach when the time is right?

I manually insert the flightplan on the GNS530 as follows (I insert KCNO, JOGIT, KLGB, and then use PROC to load the approach “ILS 30 - MIDDS”):
KCNO
JOGIT
KLGB
Approach (= ILS 30 at KLGB)
MIDDS
USR
LUCIG
GUNEY
