Add-ons, mods, and other community content are an important part of MSFS and we deeply appreciate the work being done to enhance the sim. However, we do not recommend using any streamed map data add-on to replace Bing maps. Talk about the mod is prohibited in the server, and will be removed. If you’ve at any point have had the mod installed, and are now experiencing connectivity issues, please open the hosts file located in
C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etcin a text editor like Notepad. @TRPara un-break your windows hosts file, and that should sort it out
You’ll likely need to open notepad ‘as administrator’ to be able to save your changes to it, and be more careful with mods requiring administrative privileges in the future.
