Yes totally worth it. I love baron, c172, longitude and 787. These 4 were the reason why i bought it. And some handcrafted airports. Sure they’re not on par with payware but all those handcrafted airports still stand out comparing to generic ones and cost less than a single payware airport.
I mean it’s 70€ for standard vs 120€ for premium deluxe. That’s a 50€ difference which could buy you 1-2 payware planes or 3-4 airports only. I’d take default content over that.
Although now after a year i’m starting to buy third party planes. Still would love to see some care from asobo for deluxe/premium planes. Either improve them or lets modders to the work. All the ones i mentioned are amazing planes and they deserve more care.
I am happy with the Premium/Deluxe purchase because it included the C172 Steam, with JS gauges that I can mess with and fix as I see fit.
3rd party 172’s mostly use WASM, so what you see is what you get – no options to fix or enhance.
As far as updating the Premium Planes, I believe it would be far better to leave that to Modders, who will almost certainly do a better job than Asobo, and let ASOBO concentrate of making MSFS a lot more stable, and eliminating CTDs.
ALL the CTD’s I have had, and analyzed, could have been easily avoided, if there was a desire, and the motivation to fix them, and a process put in place that would allow this.
This thread should have been locked down a long time ago.
KevyVevTPA made the last post on Feb 3, until it got bumped up by InSaNeMaSaCeR on Sep 18.
That’s a lot longer than 30 days.

for me, nope
I originally bought PDLuxe to support the project.
Otherwise I was not interested in the additional content, except for the handcrafted airfields. I don’t fly hundreds of models.
Asobo or modders, i don’t care, just do something with those beautiful iconic planes.
I have got fed up with waiting for either Asobo or Modders to tackle the Premium planes, so I mod them myself.
Unfortunately, I cannot share those Mods with anyone else, because of “Licencing Issues”

So how do the guys that did the Longitude improvement mod get around that ?
You can mod them a little, like editing some numbers but that’s it. There’s longitude, heavy division 787. No way to add features. In other words you can’t dig deep enough to make important changes
