My question(s):
It’s not a secret anymore that lots and lots of airfields and airports are missing in MSFS. It’s also pretty obvious meanwhile, that the reason for this is generally the variable quality of bing maps. So besides of your manually designed airports, you obviously let the creation of all the other airfields to the abilities of the AI interpreting Bing maps.
Are you agreeing that the result, missing a huge number of airfields, including major international airports can not stay as the final situation?
As it is unfeasible to add hundreds, probably thousands of missing airfields by hand, how do you intend to get them into the sim?
Is there a way to teach the AI not only to rely on Bing maps but also on published airport charts, since databases like this are available (Navigraph as an example comes to mind)? And on a related side note, can we do this for all the global navaids as well?
I really do hope you sort this out, completely. I hope we can expect at least all the destinations bearing an ICAO code, and after that, all LID-designated airfields included in databases like Navigraph, skyvector, and so on.
