Does anyone have a config for Cessna 152 (Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo)

I have screwed up my configs for the controllers and I am struggling to figure out exactly what controls to bind to my Alpha & Bravo, I’ve also foobared my Default config, so any suggestion on using that is out of the question.

I’ve located where the config files are saved on my system, ‘C:\Users\peter\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\SystemAppData\wgs\000901FE32A929E3_00000000000000000000000069F80140’ then theres a string of folders with different config files in each folder.

Would anyone be kind enough to share their config files, if you have the same controllers and the key bindings are the same for single prop or are they universally the same, or do you know of a site that lets people share their config files.

TIA.

I didn’t think you could actually modify the default configurations? Any changes to those causes you to save it as a new profile.

As for the Alpha and the 152, I use it “as is” straight out of the box, other then a few modifications for TrackIR and Push To Talk for VATSIM/Pilot2ATC.

For setting up the Bravo, I use RMAG’s youtube guide for setting up all engine type profiles and buttons.

Delete your profiles and create new ones from the defaults (which can’t be changed, as far as I know, unless you’ve been modifying the simulator’s internal files in which case you should reinstall).

I’ve already found his vid on YT, the only complaint I’ve got it, that is a very expensive label maker to get just to make labels for the flight controls :wink:

@Vibstronium
I’ve created new ones from the ‘Default’ profiles. I thought I’d wiped the keybindings in the default profile, but thankfully I haven’t.

Correct, you cannot delete the defaults.

So now, using the default, follow that video to setup your engine. It will then prompt you to save it as a new profile.

Iv’e assigned different things to my Bravo to what he set them to in the video, also I remapped the switched on my Alpha as to me, they were upside-down. the ‘on’ position is now the ‘off’ position. It’s a UK thing as we press the bottom of the switch to turn it on, which makes the top come out.
