Well, I’d like to redeem myself, considering I was a bit of a jerk before. This doesn’t mean I’m apologizing; on the contrary, I still believe Microsoft didn’t handle the 2024 release as we had hoped.
On the other hand, over the past few days, I feel the new version is fairly stable, despite some minor issues that may be resolved over time.
I was dealing with network issues, but they don’t happen anymore. Additionally, there was an FPS issue where I experienced a massive spike in the main menu, with GPU usage hitting around 99%. After replacing the outdated DLSS files, everything started working perfectly fine.
In fact, MSFS 2024 runs more smoothly than 2020; I can maintain most of my graphic settings at ‘high’ or ‘ultra’ without any stuttering, CTDs, or similar issues. I’m about to open a topic regarding controls, as the game keeps overriding my personal configurations with the default ones, forcing me to adjust them every time I load the game.
What about you guys?
