That’s typically the rationale for releasing updates near the beginning of the week. When the ■■■■ hits the proverbial fan, it means staff is there to be able to issue a hotfix ASAP.
However, since launch, releases have been Tuesday. But no matter how badly broken the update is, never in the history of MSFS so far have we seen a patch show up until the following week at the earliest. Sometimes longer. So it makes no difference what day they release it if they don’t intend on hotfixing ASAP if they break stuff.
