Hello, how are you? Does it happen to someone else that after the new update (1.10.7.0) everything is worse in the TBM plane, regarding the whole AP, APP, wrong data in the flight computer about the ILS landings? I had already learned to deal with all the problems of the previous update, now it is time to learn to control the plane with all the new failures.
My flight in the TBM after the patch acted like it did before. I also did not make any changes to the procedures I follow setting up the AP before taxing.
Interestingly enough, before the patch this morning, the NAV button disengaged on me at least five times in a flight close to the mountains in Baja Mexico. I could not put my finger on a reason or rhyme why that happened to me. That was a first.
I am not so sure that the AP did not like that it was flying only a thousand feet above the mountains based upon the flight plan I provided using Little NavMaps. There may be some hidden issues we are all seeing when we swap flight plans from different softwares “into” or “out of” the sim.
I supplied the flight plan from the sim into LNM and it was not even close to being correct. The GUI flight path in LNM was way off compared to the sim.
I’m 3 TBM flights in so far. Other than too high of a proportional gain on the VS, it’s been problem free. It’s better than it was previously.
That’s not AP. That’s a remnant of the “cockpit ghost”. Since the second update, I’ve had ■■■■get switched on and off in my cockpit randomly without my input. I’ve had NAV mode switch off on me before as well. It happens very randomly. I can go 10 flights without it, then I’m plagued with it for a couple of flights, then it’s gone again.
As for flight plan, I don’t care what Asobo say. Their nav data is garbage. Always has been so far. That’s what I use Navigraph. Always accurate and up to date.
Not sure if this would help, but try deleting TBM from content manager and reinstalling?
Idk if that’ll do anything tho
