Loaded an approach for ILS RW25C in EDDF. I am on the glideslope in landing configuration. Between 800 and 500 ft i get the “don´t sink” warning…
To much vertical speed.
How can he have too much vertical speed following the glide slope
What plane is this?
C172, G1000, approach flown by A/P in approach mode therefore perfect on GS. Flaps 20, 85 kts TAS, vertical speed -350 ft/min, approx. 1,5 NM before 1000 ft markers
Yep same thing KLGB to KCPM last night after the update and put the first notch of flaps in and got the warning…
Don’t know. But we didn’t got much information nor a screenshot or video. So it just was a guess.
Are you using the G1000 NXi from Marketplace?
I’ve just had a quick trip in the TBM (no mods) which included an ILS approach, I got the ‘don’t sink’ message all the way down the glideslope! Tried varying the airspeed but to no avail. Rather irritating as I couldn’t figure out if there is a way to cancel the warning.
Yes, G1000 NXi
I received the “DON’T SINK! TOO LOW” warning the other night. As it turns out, that happens when you forget to lower the landing gear for your landing. Really sad when you’ve logged over 300 hours in that aircraft (FBW A32NX).
So, we are now at SU11beta and the don´t sink issue is still there. Just got it on one of my first SU11beta flights on a perfect glideslope and localicer all the long final into KLAX. I wish there was a generic “Inhibit TAWS” shortcut.
Also after more than 1 year asking for it, there is still no sound implementation for minimum callout in the aircraft files and Working Title cannot do anything about it but to wait. Partial panel training is still not possible as of NXI´s broken reversionary mode (pop outs). Clear button does not repsond to long press and a Raim check is still not simulated. I am not happy about NXI´s slow progress.
Also had this issue today in LOWI: Don’t sink-alert all the way down to the groubd from about 4000’ onwards and still had it when havibg come to a full stop on the runway. Aircraft was the CJ4, standard scenery.
