I mentioned it earlier…really strange as it’s not been mentioned at all recently but it’s still in the timeline for the updates so I assume it’s still to be released today, not got a clue what cities it will be though
Hoping for scandinavia update!
We need Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim.

Absolutely!!!
But considering that CU4 will be revealed today at GamesCom in Köln, its likely to be close to Colone/Germany. All past 3 CU were revealed at an event and the CU covered the region where the event was helt (Köln, Paris, Texas).
A City Update Scandinavia would be my favourite too! All the missing capitals + important cities like Malmö, Helsingborg-Helsingör, Gothenburg, Bergen, Trondheim etc.

As of moments ago, City Update Western Europe, featuring Rotterdam, Cologne, Luxembourg, and other locations. Includes hand-made Cologne-Bonn Airport.
Local Legend Airplane is the Dornier Do X flying boat, presumably made in conjunction with Bluemesh as the art style and tow-boat is the same as used in the French flying boat.

Sad presentation, I wish they would leave adding new aircraft and scenery to 3rd parties and instead focus on sorting out the numerous core issues in the sim.

Is this expected to drop at 1500Z or has it dropped already?
World Update trailer said “Available now” but not at gaming computer to check. Not sure about the Dornier flying boat availability yet. In the past, the updates have been in the marketplace no later than 5 or 6pm US Eastern, but that’s likely highly variable.
I’m seeing updates to World Update IV (France, Netherlands) and World Update VI (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
EDIT: I also see City Update IV: Western Europe available in the marketplace

Cologne AGAIN??
" 2022: To celebrate the return of Gamescom, Microsoft Flight Simulator has released its first-ever City Update today featuring five brand-new photogrammetry German cities: Hanover, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Bonn, and Cologne."
Was the photogrammetry of Cologne from CU1 bad or something? Or are they not refering to photogrammetry, meaning "featuring Cologne [airport]?

I think the new thing is the airport, but it’s pointless as going to Cologne is pretty unflyable and the photogrammetry there is so bugged it absolutely tanks the fps.

The video features the city specifically AND the airport.

Its just the airport they have done, new cities are, Annemasse, Geneva, Ghent, Luxembourg, and Rotterdam.

Why would they call out and do a flyover of the city then at the 0:36 second mark in the video, right before the airport preview?

Please do let us know if you notice any improvements over Köln with CU4 installed. Would be interesting to know if they improved TIN performance.
Havnt had the time to check it out in CU1 for some reason. I always end up flying directions like EKCH-EDDM or EDDM-EBBR, neither of which pass by western Germany.
