Dornier SeaStar: Protective Covers & Chocks in Place when Spawning C&D on Water

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
When spawning the Dornier SeaStar cold-n-dark on water (i.e. amphibious), one starts in cockpit view, presumably as it does not make sense to start in walk-around view when in the sea or ocean (which is good). However, the 3 protective red covers for the engines, pitot tube and static port are still in place, as are the chocks, requiring one to exit the plane to walk-around view, then “walk” around the aircraft to remove them - except the aircraft is bobbing up & down in the sea-swells, making it very difficult to nearly impossible to remove them, as ones point of view relative to the aircraft is constantly changing.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Dornier SeaStar SeaWings, and possibly every other default amphibious aircraft too (I have not checked).

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
No 3rd-Party or Community Addons (default installation) / Yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. In free-flight, select the Dornier SeaStar, set the weather to live weather during the daytime (just so one can see the aircraft), and spawn cold-n-dark anywhere on any Ocean or Sea (not airborne). You might need to modify the weather settings by increasing the surface wind speed to generate some swells if the Ocean/Sea is dead flat & calm.
  2. Exit the aircraft in walk-about mode. Note how the aircraft is bobbing up & down in the swells.
  3. Have fun trying to remove the protective red covers for the engines, pitot tube and static port + chocks. Sorta like bobbing for apples as a child, if you ever played that game! :slightly_smiling_face:
  4. Expected cold-n-dark behavior:
→ On land (e.g. at an airport), one starts in walk around view with the protective covers in place (this is the current behavior, no need to change it).
→ On water, one starts in cockpit view (as occurs now) BUT the protective covers are already removed (this is not the current behavior. This bug topic requests this change).
