Hey everyone i have a doubt about my gpu.
As you may know AMD released their new RDNA gpus.
I have a RX 5700 XT 8GB , and my question is, my gpu will be enough for a long time for 1920x1080 and specially for FS2020 or should i upgrade to new RX 6000 series?
I think FS2020 will receive a lot of optimizations too ne?
But what do you think about my RX 5700 XT 8GB is a good gpu for long time?
MSFS cares alot more about your CPU than your GPU as it seems like. Getting a beefier CPU first would suffice. Although, we don’t know what your CPU is anyway
If you plan to keep running on 1080P, there is no reason at all to replace your RX5700XT. It’s a great card, and for that resolution it will be fine.
I agree with @MortThe2nd the rx5700xt even kicks butt at 1440p.No need to switch it now

well, it should be easy; are you happy with how your system performs right now? If you’re happy with it, you don’t need an upgrade.
If you were going to upgrade to a 4K monitor then you’ll have to upgrade, but if it runs great, then why the question?
but in fs2020 dont run so great…

Rx 5700 xt 8gb
32gb
1tb samsung ssd. 3 partitions, 700 gb in one dedicated partition drive for the sim.
Monitor 144mhz
Settings in high-end
Average of 47 fps, rural areas up to 85/90.
Really happy with the gpu.
if you’re showing FPS numbers you really need to add the resolution you’re running at.
the fps could be better man…and in a320nx i noticed a lot of fps drop…game sometimes is not so smooth

and you also have the rx 5700 xt . But my i7 - 9700k is not a bad cpu ne bro? should i change to ryzen and amd motherboard?

most important is to set the refresh rate for the glass panel cockpit planes to ‘medium’ or ‘low’ (it’s at the bottom of graphics settings), this will help FPS in the 320 a lot.
inter should be better for gamming, i guess, ryzen 9 3900 has 12 cores but it is good for multithreading not just for gamming.
I chose rx5700xt because for that price is the best and there is not a big gap between this and the nvidia ones which cost more than €200 more
I think i’m getting good performance as the PC is just a month old and i dont have rubbish also having three partitions is good, one for w10 pro 200gb, 700 gb for mfs2020 and 100 gp por documents and personal using.
