Flight Details:
Verse 1 – RESET
South of the mountains, down Mexico way,
RESET dives boldly through twilight’s array,
Threading the ridges where shadows still play,
Carving his legend in clouds cold and gray.
Verse 2 – SAKI
Canyons are winding, the walls closing tight,
SAKI slips through them with fearless delight,
Banking through valleys where few dare to stray,
South of the mountains, down Mexico way.
Verse 3 – GUNPILOT
Ridges are rising, the crosswinds they roar,
GUNPILOT skims them just feet from the floor,
Daring the turbulence, steady and brave,
South of the mountains, down Mexico way.
Verse 4 – TRITON
Engines fall silent, the throttle at rest,
TRITON glides idle to prove he’s the best,
Landing with grace where no runways are found,
South of the mountains, down Mexico ground.
Verse 5 – AIRSHOW
Cliffs edge the valleys, the danger is near,
AIRSHO rolls wing‑tips with crowds that would cheer,
Dancing through air with a showman’s display,
South of the mountains, down Mexico way.
Verse 6 – GREB
Jagged terrain where the bold dare to land,
GREB plants his Caravan firm on the sand,
Dust clouds erupt as the echoes convey,
South of the mountains, down Mexico way.
Final Chorus
Dreams of adventure, bold flyers at play,
Testing their courage in skies every day,
Legends are written in daring display,
South of the mountains, down Mexico way.

The Texas Turbine Super 900 Upgrade
The Texas Turbine Supervan 900 upgrade is a kit for the Cessna 208 Caravan that replaces the original engine with a more powerful Honeywell TPE331-12JR, a Hartzell 110-inch four-blade propeller, and other components to significantly boost performance. The upgrade offers improvements such as increased cruise speed, shorter take-off distances, a faster rate of climb, and increased static thrust. This conversion enhances overall efficiency, allowing for longer cruise distances for the same fuel consumption and lower per-hour operating costs over time.
Come 15 mins before the start time for this event so you can grab the mod and install for the flight.
*Again, a packaged up WEATHER file has been developed and included along with the flight plan, negating any need for anyone to dial in weather settings, as well as ensuring that all pilots are experiencing exactly the same weather conditions. The Weather Preset file is located in #gunpilots-events (click this link Discord) to be taken there. Load this file directly into the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 directory on your PC in the PRESETS folder which is located within the WEATHER folder in the aforementioned MSFS2024 directory .
