Hi, I have been having issues with sim for some time so decided a fresh install was the thing to do - after reading similar issues on here.
Despite disabling antivirus, firewall the D/L only gets to around 5% - 3.5GB approx - the it goes back to 0 and starts again, no notification or anything.
I have tried everything I can see online about trouble with D/L but has anyone else have any ideas please?

Things that have worked for me in the past.
Reboot the PC and let it settle down (i.e., get to desktop, let it finish autoloading whatever is on startup etc)
Disable A/V and Firewall, Anti-Spyware etc.
Try the d/l again
If it fails, exit out and restart the sim again.
If it’s still failing, watch the d/l carefully, make note of which file it’s bouncing on and then stop the sim.
Go to that file and manually delete it.
Restart sim.
I know it’s a lot, but that’s what worked for me before.

Hi guys.
I’m having a similar problem. I bought FS on steam. It loaded the initial bit and is found in the steam games list of mine. When I try to run it, it starts the initial mandatory game upload then says ‘authentication service unreachable’ and stops loading. There is nothing wrong with my internet. I’ve turned off all firewalls.
