Detail steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Downloaded Jabiru 160/170 update. Stuck on decompression phase. Deleted fspackage files from Official folder, tried again. Same problem. Deleted aircraft, then redownloaded…same problem, except now there are more fspackage files showing the version sequence.

Are you on the Steam or Microsoft Store version?

Steam

Did you submit this to Zendesk? If so, what is your ticket #?

No.

Please try to run as administrator. I use to have the same problem. Seems it is not allowed to write files on your disc when decrompressing. Though I have store version. Hope this helps.

I fixed it. I went and deleted the folder for the aircraft in the Official folder then the downloaded files actually decompressed.

If you are having issues updating the Jabiru J160/J170, stuck at decompressing 1.4.5 package, try this:

Close your FS2020 session.

Go into your MSFS2020 Official Folder (eg: mine is D:\MSFS2020\Official\OneStore). Find the iris-aircraft-jab folder. Either delete it or move it OUT of your MSFS2020 tree. Also, make sure you don’t have an iris-aircraft-jab-1.4.5.fspatch or iris-aircraft-jab-1.4.6.fspatch file in your main OneStore directory. Delete/Move them if you do.

Restart MSFS2020, go into Profile, Content Manager. You should now see a package listed as “Not Installed”. Retry the redownload/reinstall. It SHOULD complete this time.

Thank you, that worked. I’ll give Iris a break since these aircraft are just so ■■■■ good. Hopefully they’ll be more careful about how they configure their updates in the future.

Perfect! Thank you!
