Drone Camera Reset to Aircraft how?

Just 2 days into sim. I have looked into the keyboard function for the drone camera, and looked into the guides but still not sure how to reset the drone camera back to the aircraft. Example, flying towards central London from Biggin Hill about 10 miles, flying over my home. Pause the sim, then press INS to go to drone camera, and navigate down to look at my house. Move the drone cam back to the aircraft, re-start the flying back to Biggin Hill airfield, and land safely. Taxi to the hanger. Then pressed the INS, drone cam, and find the cam back to where I left it, above my home, where I paused the aircraft? I thought it would follow the aircraft? Don’t know how to reset the drone cam, back to the aircraft? And how do you speed up the camera movement? Happy New Year . Thanks

By default the #5 on the numeric keyboard resets the drone cam.
You can assign it to whatever key you want.

Resets to right behind the aircraft, tail view.

No idea whether speeding up is possible.
Your best bet would be to go the control assignments menu and type in “drone” in the search field: all possible drone command assignments should the be listed there.

Click on the Camera icon at the top of the screen while in Drone mode. Then select Drone Speed slider to your liking.

Camera Icon also has a “Reset Position” bar in it’s menu - make sure you are still in Drone (or as it says “Showcase”) mode

F1 and F2 will decrease and increase your drone speed.

Actually I think that at present the correct keys are:

  • Increase Drone Translation Speed: F6
  • Decrease Drone Translation Speed: F5
  • Increase Drone Rotation Speed: F8
  • Decrease Drone Rotation Speed: F7

F1 and F2 are for the depth of field.

***Note:
Probably during the development phases/updates there have been some changes to the default keys for the Drone camera, because I too had problems with the keys by reading old guides.

Hello. Can the speed of the drone camera increased permanently? It is always very slow by default. You have to increase each time when go into drone mode. Would be great if my favorite speed value would be saved permanently in the settings…
