No they haven’t and there is no mention of it in the list of issues they intend to fix.
However I see that some of the latest airports, (from some developers) have been changed by removing the collision detection from all building on their airports. It may be that others will follow suit.
It seems ridiculous that developers spend a great deal of time creating interiors that cannot be seen.

It won’t be fixed. Hopefully 2024 doesn’t have this but I won’t get my hopes up.

I realized this after not using the drone for a while. If I remember correctly, it was possible previously. Really hope this gets fixed.

It’s now been fixed in MSFS 2024 and the 2024 SDK, so the drone camera will be able to enter buildings once again.

Hope for fix in 2024 because it’s not fixed in 2020. Just landed at Stansted (so pretty recent airport). Can’t enter terminal, drops me directly on top of the roof.
SU2 introduced a regression causing the drone not being able to enter buildings just like with MSFS 2020 SU9, bumping you to the roof.
Hope SU5 or SU6 fixes this, this is annoying me with airports that have interiors but cannot enter them with the drone camera.
