Why on earth wasn’t that in the Canada update? or if it must be in the Antipodes, Australia.
Viking were making noises about restarting DHC-5 production some years back, I guess nobody wants one… ( I notice they’ve also got the type certs for the whole Shorts Skyvan family ).
Smell, a fan that gives you that nice and warm “unhealthy” exhaust fumes blowing into your face… oh and yep… the feeling of tinnitus for those who thought they were hard by not wearing any ear protection as kids…

I reckon if we do more of these sorts of posts in a specific context and also on various other formats and get enough basis for support to the point of offering a upfront deposit so these developers wont loose out…

I mean, as with all hobbies, we will pay for something that gives us enjoyment in our passions, we have to be mindful and realistic $£€ of what we will have to spend for as of the smaller markets but yeah man…

As someone who used to commute by F-50, believe me I wish I’d had ear protectors inside sometimes…
Darts ain’t squat for noise. Work around KC-135A’s with four water burning J57’s and B-1B’s with four afterburning F101’s - I don’t care how much ear protection you have, you still end up years later with a high-pitched hum screaming in your ears for the rest of your life.

I grew up traveling on Liat to see family and those RR Darts always announced its arrival. My excitement would go through the roof. My older brother even made me several models because he knew it was my favorite aircraft.
Piper and McKay’s 748 was the best rendition ever. They captured the soundscape of the darts almost perfectly. I don’t think any other developer was able to accomplish what they did.
Yes please, a Hawker Siddeley 748 by Justflight would be great

Wouldn’t be interested in a 748 but an HS 780 (Andover) the mil version might tempt me.
Would be interested in both a 748 and 780 (Andover) being done by a dev like Just Flight or Blackbird.

Still remember when Austrian Airlines introduced them as a DC-3 replacement for their domestic flights.
I reckon someone like Just flight could do a whole HS package including the ATP…
I definitely feel like Just Flight should be doing one of these birds…

Bit late to the party but I would sure love to have a HS 748 in my hangar, and a Viscount and Herald would be nice as well! now I have the Shorts 330/60 and the excellent freeware F27 the HS748, Herald and Viscount would complete my collection of aircraft I used to see at my local airport.
I had the 748 in FS2004 and I think I had Viscount as well.
