Not sure when this trend started exactly, but for sure been a few years, where companies “release” and Early Access model and then finish it at a point in time after that.
My question is, how long should we expect “Early Access” to last?
Case in Point being FSS Early Access E-jets, which I think was release before Jan 2023 and is still not out of Early Access.
They have tonight blocked everyone from there discord from posting message, because people where, rightly asking the questions on Where is the feature they said was coming over a year ago, such as custom FMC and Vnav
Yep, I jumped on the band wagon and purchased the “Early Access” E170/175 and though nothing of it, but in reality thinking early access would end within a year, max and we’d have a final product.
What this has done, is make sure I’m not buying any more early access stuff, and have much more respect for developers who do not sell until they have a “good” product.
