I am trying to edit camera.config files in a few planes to simulate the old FSX “W” key where you could hide the cockpit. (found on YouTube). The cfg file change puts you slightly in front of the plane.. You have to just load a flight and save a view (I used Ctl-Alt-0), then exit the sim and make the change, then restart the sim. However, after succesfuully doing this in a Cessna 172 I tried to repeat the process in the TBM930 and discovered that the TBM930 folder does not have a camera.cfg file, even after I saved that custom view. From what I understand, once you save a custom view it should create the file… it did with the Cessna. I am baffled as to why the camera.cfg file does not exist in the TBM folder.
I should add that the YouTube tutorial didn’t work for me. Making the cfg change did nothing. In any case, the question remains…where is the cfg file?
