EFB don't send route to avionic msfs-2024

In free flight, it only sends me part of the route, almost always it only loads the final section and, for example, the ILS approaches, it does not load them.

Yes having same issue here, in career mode 172, avionics has a different plan than EFB, and pressing the bottom doesn’t seem to do anything.

I’m having this same issue and wondering when it will get fixed. It’s caused me to go back to 2020 until it’s fixed. It makes the game unplayable which sucks because I like a lot of things about this game.

I just don’t understand how for a game that is so expensive that this most simple and crucial thing doesn’t work. I hope it’s fixed soon, it’s ridiculous.

Having the same issue here.
And after patch 1.2.7.0 even the default flight plans that come with the mission are not displayed on the avionics anymore, and can’t be transferred to the EFB.

I have the same. I can’t send flight plan efb to avionics

I discovered, that only the default MSFS2024 planes witth the G1000 will get the plans.
Other planes, MSFS 2020, uses another version of the G1000 and this one dosen’t get the plans.

Have you tried with the Corvalis?
The C172 seems to get them, but the C400 doesn’t
This is in career mode.

its the same with the Airliners. None of them get the plan loaded.

I found a workaround, but this only working with Simbrief and the Navigraph G1000-Plugin. Hope it helps.

  1. Create Flightplan with Simbrief, klick “Generate”, Flighplan-File is not nessesary
  2. Start MSFS and Free-Flight at your Departure-Airport, Ramp, ect.
  3. Activate the Avionics / MFD
  4. Add you Simbrief ID inside the MFD Tab “AUX”
  5. Load via MFD Tab “FLP” and select from the Flightplankatalog your plan (see Screenshot)
  6. press the Softkey Activate
    Ready

optional for the EFB
select Load Plan FROM Avionics

This area is to me, the most broken and overlooked aspect as to why MSFS2024 fails as a simulator… Career mode has proven it’s a failure as a game.

Proper, even basic flight planning is so mangled in 2024… From the ability to get accurate weather information in-flight via ATIS, to preflight weather planning (proper altitude selection, fuel considerations) are so removed that the GAME has put me into 40 kt crosswinds on final with no other runway options. This is not a fun situation in a 208!!

I like to do 2hr flights with full ATC coverage via SayIntentions.AI and have to dedicate the time to do it. It is extremely frustrating to not to have cohesive, in-game flight planning that works across the board. I’m going back to 2020 so that I can actually use the add ons and tools that I enjoy.

I’m sorry Jorg, 4 planes that no one wants is not going to get the community’s trust back at this point. You guys over promised and seriously under delivered.

Same here. Made a complete IFR flight plan (using the webbased planner, because EFB doesn’t “find a route”). Was able to load it into the EFB. Send it to avionics. After flight start the active flight plan is completely empty. I just see the blue skyboxes, but nothing in the avionics. (G2 vision jet.)

I’m so flabbergasted… am i doing something wrong or such a basic/crucial part of this game that broken???

/edit:
Frustrated, I decided to just try again. Ended the broken flight. On free flight screen I loaded up the same route again. This time I disabled live traffic and put it on AI because I was getting live-traffic error popups. And changed time of day to afternoon (instead of ‘live’). This time the flight immediatly shows up in the active flight plan. So, yay, I guess… Maybe it was the live traffic and/or live time? Or its just unreliable?

Hello!!! The problem still exist? Can’t send route to avionics on GA aircraft

I’m having the same problem, but I didn’t used to. Here’s the interesting bit: I only recently put on live traffic, and I’m pretty sure the problem started when I did that. I will now undo that, and give 'er a whirl. Wish me luck!

Nope. Still squirrely.

Have to load it twice, in FreeFlight and again on runway. Been like that since the start. Very reproducable error in B-787.

Can’t believe the problem still persist.
I knew that MSFS2024 would have failed as a simulator, but my hope was it would have did something good as a videogame.
Passing the route from EFB to avionics should be a BASIC thing for casual players… They sell the game for XBOX users… Imagine to play the game with just a gamepad  … I struggle even with keyboard, mouse, logi yoke and three monitors ahahahah

Same issue still persist after SU1 in the A320

Up. This is annoying having to set all the data manually.

Spent most of the day trying various scenarios to figure out the real nature of this problem. Far as I can tell, aircraft that use FMC style avionics (big jets generally) cannot import a flight plan to their FMC either from the EFB or one from a file created by the MS flight planner online. Garmin avionics seem to accept these same flight plans.

I have seen videos of Simbrief flight plans being imported to FMC without any problem. Following that video’s example to the letter, I tried the same procedure with flight plans created by LNM and in the EFB. It didn’t work. Personally I don’t fly enough of the heavies to justify a Simbrief membership.

The fact that flight plans from LNM or EFB do seem to be loaded correctly into the Garmin avionics leads me to suspect that this problem can’t be all that hard to fix. Why this has not been fixed after more than 6 months of FS2024 is disturbing. You’d think that MS would at least fix this for flight plans created by their own software and not allow a situation where payments to a third party are required to allow full functionality.

Problem not updated. Send route to avionics don’t work in the cessna with the G1000.

It’s a basic function, incredible that the bug still there
