I’m kinda of bumping this and requesting this to be somehow logged, or if someone could please explain why it’s not. The EFB errors are very obvious, and can be completely replicated.
In free flight mode, let’s try to load the SkyCourier:
-
Configure the aircraft and just move the seats slider to full:
Now the aircraft weight approximately 140000lbs, when actually it’s an aircraft that has an MTOW of 19000lbs. -
Just to test, lets see how much each passenger weights:
So, each passenger weights 6675lbs. Sounds reasonable. -
Just for kicks, let’s see what happens on other airplanes. In this case the TwinOtter
So for the TwinOtter, just sliding the passengers sliders takes the weight to almost 43000lbs and each passenger weights 4735lbs -
Let’s try to load the ATR 42 600, which loads in sectors:
So, the first section, which has apparently six passengers, can weight up to almost 16000lbs, which gives a weight of 2600lbs per passenger approximately, and this happens on each section of the fuselage.
I don’t see anything about this tackled, and I don’t understand how this isn’t in the scope apparently, since it renders a simple operation like loading the aicraft and calculating basic things like mass, CG and trim, impossible.
Thanks in advance,
Seb
