Ok, I think I discovered a temporary workaround. If you have a flight stick, use a mouse to interact with the EFB. Keep the controller on so you can look around since you cant look with the mouse
As for controller only, same as above
Hopefully, this is the week that the EFB gets fixed.
Word of warning, do not unplug the stick when the mouse is in, the stick will have a stroke and you will need to restart the sim, and that takes time.
All of this testing was done in SU3 beta.
This is still an issue. The EFB is completely inoperable with the Virtual Cursor, you can’t click on anything.
Have you read above for the fix that seems to work for the vast majority? Simply use or remake a new custom profile from the default 2024 Gamepad Transversal profile (for General controls only, not Airplane controls, etc) and it should work with no issues. The corruption seems to lie in any pre-SU2 custom preset.
Yes and I posted after I tried it. It doesn’t work, the Virtual Cursor just doesn’t seem to have click authority in the EFB. I’ll try again after Sim Update 3 drops (I’m not in the beta currently.)
It doesn’t work for me even on SU3 beta. It works for the in-cockpit EFB in the default Cessna 172 (the only one) but the virtual mouse does not work. I need an actual mouse.
Even with the default preset? I only ask because I’m on SU3 and the default (and new custom preset made off of the default) works fine for me (and others in this thread).
I made a custom (to avoid conflicts with a flight stick) and the mouse cursor click doesnt work.
