I press Tab to bring up the EFB window, but it’s extremely tiny (cropped), and cannot be clicked or repositioned in the UI layer.

i found if you open the settings after opening the EFB (mine shows up in front of the plane and cant select), the tweak a setting somewhere anywhere, to esc to save and resume the game and the EFB will appear back in the correct location (in the tablet holder)

Yeah but then you have to worry about the big black box that will appear.
actually since then i just use Tab key and it pops in and out. but its still unusable when outside the cockpit

Same frustrating problem. I use hardware yoke, throttles & pedals but mouse for much other cockpit interaction. If I use Tab key to pop out the EFB it gets placed somewhere outside of the windshield, but the mouse can’t reach it so it’s useless. The only way to use the EFB is in its cradle, over by the co-pilot in Cessna 172.
I can use other 2D toolbar windows placed into 3D without a problem.
My long-loved Sky4sim Pad, which has no fs2024 upgrade planned, still seems to work just as expected. I was even able to import the current fs2024 flight plan into it.
I hope this VR EFB popout issue can be addressed soon as there is a lot of useful functionality in there that I want to use.
I have this problem in vr for the Vision jet.
