EGNX reduce aircraft

I am very impressed with the new EGNX East Midlands. But there are too many aircraft at stands which affects performance.
I read somewhere that this can be reduced but I cannot find out how to do this!

Hello! Try this: Go to → Options → General Options → Traffic → Ground Aircraft Density

In the Contrail App, go to the EGNX entry and to Configuration. There you will find three options, which affect how much “clutter” and parked aircraft are visible.

I go for the high performance option, the bottom of the 3, and I am guessing that MSFS needs to be restarted after making the change.

There is a total of 6 static aircraft at the airport which can be disabled via the contrail app as mentioned above. I suppose all other aircraft that you see are generated AI planes which can be turned off through in sim settings.

I’m loving your rendition of EGNX, by the way, and wondering if and when your previous other offerings might be appearing on Contrail?

They should be there after Aug24, after that date I will also start the license transfer process for those who wish to do that.

Hello @pyreegue how can I remove the static aircraft when I bought the marketplace-version? I can´t find a way in the contrail-app. Hope it´s just me and there is a way :wink: thank you

Contrail app version only. There’s a configurator button where you can change between versions.

For those who have purchased the scenery via marketplace - there is no way for static AI to be switched off? If so is there a way I can delete those static aircraft myself? I am not huge fan of static aeroplanes, takes up parking space and affects performance.

This is not a question of support or lack thereof, MSFS submissions do not allow to include different variants of the same bgl (object placement data), hence the lack of customisation.

Contrail webshop, on the other hand, is managed differently and allows developers to include unlimited amount of different scenery configurations to satisfy everybody’s needs.

Thanks I do understand limitations within marketplace nevertheless performance is still spot on, The only reason why I wanted to remove static AI is because I fly on Vatsim and having all stands available is really more convenient for me. Nevertheless the actual scenery is very good.

Does the configuration feature on Contrail still work with EGNX, as I have that set at the ultra performance option, yet I am still seeing static aircraft and clutter?
