Elevator trim on MSFS 2020

KT-040 rotary encoder on Leo Bodnar BU0836A not working on elevator trim on MSFS 2020. Works fine on FSX. Somone has a solution. Will Microsoft provide a fix

Have you assigned it in the controller settings?

Yes I have assigned it to elevator trim up and elevator trim down respectively.
Curiously, if I assingn it to AP (any parameter) it works !

If you are using fsuipc7 beta then it may be worth doing a trace using fsuipc’s logging function to see what actual event is triggered when you move the elevator trim by mouse in the VC.
